My First Blog

Published by ravenlee at 8:19 pm under Legos Edit This

Greetings and hello. Welcome to my blog! Today we’re talking Legos(TM)! One of my favorite subjects.

Have you ever stopped to wonder about the brilliance of Lego(TM)? I mean here we have a little plastic brick that interconnects with other little plastic bricks, super simple right? And yet it is one of the most endearing toys ever to have been created, why is that? The answer is simple, they are simple, uncomplicated, imaginative, creative, thought provoking, little plastic bricks.

Well I have. To me Legos (TM) are not just a toy but a philosophy. I mean that seriously, they as a toy embody variety, versatility, and creativity. As a philosophy those same attributes, variety, versatility, creativity, can be extended to almost anything. Imagine a computer that to upgrade you only need stick on a new block or a house that you can add too as easily as you would buy a new car.

Anyway it’s really just a thought and there’s no reason it can’t be done. Who knows someday maybe it will be but for now, it’s a neat idea!

Also You Can Get Ones That Glow! How COOL Is THAT!

Well I guess I should try and get y’all’s comments. To My wife: we can do the Lego house thing, we just don’t because most people are lazy and don’t want to do things differently than they’ve always been done. To Flit: damn straight glow-in-the-dark Legos are awesome! To Gumby: I hope they don’t require too much feeding I’m on a budget, and as to the Lego approach of programming most of the good languages are set up to do that for a reason it’s nice to know that some of the programmers out there understand and use that methodology. To JD: of course there’s no explaining or projecting of goals I don’t have any. To me the only purpose of this whole blog thing is for my own personal gratification. And the amusement of my family and friends.
